Adam Clifton
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Adam Clifton, 48, was caught north of the southbound lanes of US 51 in late March. When he was caught, Clifton denied that he was drinking that night, but then later said “he had a few beers” and was going the wrong way because he was a “terrible person.”
October 28th, Clifton pleaded guilty to Marathon County Circuit Judge Scott Corbett. He was then sentenced to six months in Marathon County Jail.
He will also be serving three years of probation and was ordered to abstain from alcohol possession or consumption, as well as to stay away from any bars.
