SANTA CLARA, CA (WSAU) — The teams for Super Bowl 60 are set. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks advanced with wins on Sunday.
The Patriots beat Denver 10-7 in a snowy AFC Title game at Mile High Stadium. Drake Maye scored a rushing TD after the Pats recovered a fumble. Christian Gonzalez picked off Jarrett Stidham late to seal the win.
It will be a record 12th Super Bowl appearance for the Patriots.
They will take on the Seattle Seahawks who held off the LA Rams 31-27 in the NFC title game in Seattle.
Sam Darnold threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 10 catches for 153 yards and a score. The Seattle defense held off a late Ram rally for the win.
The two teams will square off for the NFL Championship on February 8th in Santa Clara California.
