MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — A fire in a garden shed damaged two nearby structures Sunday morning in Marshfield.
Crews were called to a home on E 17th Street for a report of a backyard shed that was fully engulfed in flames. When they arrived they found the fire had spread to a pair of nearby sheds on an adjacent property.
Firefighters were able to get the flames under control in five minutes. All three structures are considered a total loss.
The fire was caused by a recreational fire that was left unattended. High wind also contributed to the spread of the flames.
No injuries were reported.
