Wausau Police Department Seeking Help to Identify Fire Starter

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Friday, October 10th, 2025, at 10:30 pm a man was setting fires to park trash/recycling bins along River Edge Parkway, near the pedestrian bridge. He then left east on the trail towards N. 1st Street. A video of the man can be viewed here.

The Wausau Police Department made a post showing a video of the man in the middle of the action, and is asking for the help of viewers to identify him. This post asks to submit a response through direct messaging or through Marathon County Crime Stoppers.
