Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Ohio State scored four goals in the final frame to skate past Wisconsin 5-1 in a matchup of ranked teams on Friday.
Simon Tassy scored the lone goal of the game for the Badgers early in the third period, making the score 2-1 Buckeyes. The visitors followed that with a three-goal outburst, including an empty-netter with about three and a half minutes remaining.
Daniel Hauser made 15 saves in net and was charged with the loss.
The same two teams will play this evening, with no radio coverage on WSAU due to Bucks basketball.
The Badger women skated to a 5-1 win over St. Cloud State on Friday. Caroline Harvey scored two goals and recorded an assist. Claire Enright, Emma Venusio, and Kirsten Simms also found the back of the net.
