GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers defense was the star in Sunday’s 23-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.
The Packers held Minnesota to two first half field goals. In the second half the Vikings had more negative play yardage than postive yards.
Viking QB JJ McCarthy was held to 12 completions for 87 yard and was sacked five times with two interceptions. He had a QB rating of 17.9.
Micah Parsons and Devote Wyatt had two sacks each. Isaiah McDuffie and Evan Williams had the interceptions.
Offensively it was Emanuel Wilson, playing for the injured Josh Jacobs, that led the way with 107 yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns. Jordan Love was 14-21 for 139 yards.
The Packers, now 7-3-1, will travel to Detroit for a Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday. Packer GameDay begins at 10am on WSAU.
