WAUKESHA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Slenderman stabber, Morgan Geyser, is back in Wisconsin.
Last weekend she cut off her monitoring device and fled from a group home in Madison. She and a 42-year-old took a bus to Illinois, and were caught at a truck stop near Chicago.
Geyser, now 23, is being held in the Waukesha County Jail, according to the county’s district attorney’s office. A motion hearing is scheduled for December 22. The DA will argue to have her group home placement revoked.
In 2014 when Geyser was 12, she stabbed another 12-year-old, her friend Payton Leutner, nearly to death. She and the other suspect, Anissa Weier, told police they stabbed Leutner to please the fictional online character, Slenderman. The crime was committed in Waukesha County.
