WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Wausau police say on Monday evening officers seized over a quarter-pound of methamphetamine, underscoring their ongoing efforts to keep the city safe.
“This is NOT an approved Thanksgiving ingredient,” the department said, in a post Thursday showing the haul.
Police say the WPD’s Community Resource Unit has been actively working to ensure community safety during the holiday season.
“We’re proud of the hard work our team puts in every day,” the department said. Police have not publicly announced any arrests in connection with the drug bust.
The WPD extends gratitude to the community for its continued support and wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
