TOWN OF BIRCH, WI (WSAU) — A 27-year-old Irma woman has been arrested after a domestic disturbance on Friday.
Sheriff’s officers said Marissa Gronholm was accused of assaulting her boyfriend and damaging property. At one point, the reporting individual said she had tried to arm herself with a hammer.
Officers confirmed at least one person was injured in the incident, and property was damaged.
The suspect was booked into the Lincoln County Jail for domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property. The charges are misdemeanors that could land her in jail for nearly 2 years, along with fines.
Gronholm appeared in court on Monday. Further court action is scheduled for February 23rd.
