MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A Mosinee man is accused of burglary in the Lincoln County Town of Somo on Sunday.
Officers were called to an undisclosed address by a property owner, who reported that someone had broken into a building on his property. Officers made contact with a man who initially denied breaking into the building. Still, they were able to track footprints from the man leading into the building, and items from the building were located near his vehicle.
Officers also reported damage to the building, including a broken door.
The man, identified as Todd Schifelbine, was booked into the Lincoln County jail on charges including burglary, criminal damage to property, resisting or obstructing an officer, and bail jumping. Court action against him is pending.
