LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 21 points and made two key defensive plays to help the Milwaukee Bucks hold off the LA Lakers 105-101 Friday night.
Kevin Porter Jr led the scoring with 22 points, five rebounds, four steals, and six assists. AJ Green and Bobby Portis each added 11 points.
Portis’ night also included 12 rebounds, giving him a double-double off the bench.
James led the Lakers with a game-high 26 points and ten assists.
Antetokounmpo blocked a LeBron James shot in the final minute, then recorded a steal on the next possession to help secure the win.
The Bucks continue their Western Conference road trip on Sunday in Denver. They’ll return home on Tuesday, January 13th, to play the Minnesota Timberwolves.
