Wisconsin Badgers
ANN ARBOR, MI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers got their biggest road-win in years, upsetting Number-2 Michigan, 91-88. It was the first time the Badgers beat a top-two team since 2016.
Wisconsin trailed by 1-point at halftime, but opened up the second half hitting their first 9 shots. 7 were three pointers. Michigan had a chance to tie the game down the stretch, but missed a contested 3-point shot with 8-seconds left. It was Michigan’s first loss of the season.
Michigan led by 16 in the first half.
John Blackwell had 26-points.
Nebraska and Purdue are the only remaining Big Ten teams without a conference loss.
The Badgers improved to 11-5 this eason, and 3-2 in league play.
