ARBOR VITAE, WI (WSAU) — The State Patrol has identified the Three Lakes man who was killed in a head-on collision on US 51 in Vilas County this week.
Edward Cervenansky died when his Chevy pickup drifted across the center line and crashed with a dump truck. Officers say the 34-year-old was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Cervenansky’s 1993 Chevy GMT-400 was southbound on US 51. The Kenworth dump truck, driven by a 23-year-old from Green Bay, who was not injured in the crash.
The incident closed a portion of US 51 near Trapp Road for several hours. First responders from Arbor Vitae, Woodruff, Three Lakes, and Oneida County responded to the incident.
