WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Marshfield man will be sentenced for two counts related to the repeated sexual assault of a young girl.
Kurtis Holman will face more than 45 years in prison for first-degree child sexual assault and for causing a child to listen to a sex act, both involving a girl who was younger than 13. Charges stem from a 2024 complaint accusing the 37-year-old of repeated sexual assault of the same child. Investigators say the assaults began in 2018 and continued for years.
Holman pleaded no contest to the charges in late August, canceling a scheduled jury trial. Two additional felony counts were dismissed but read into the record.
Today’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM.
