MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Big Ten Conference has announced the complete 2025 football schedule, including a proverbial murder’s row for the Badgers between September 13th and October 25th.
That six-week stretch will see Wisconsin play three College Football Playoff contenders and the 2024 CFP Champions. That run begins with a non-conference game against SEC powerhouse Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide were in the mix for a CFP spot up until Conference Championship weekend but were left out of the 12-team bracket.
Conference play begins on September 20th against Maryland in Madison. Wisconsin then travels to Michigan, which won the National Championship in 2024 but finished a lackluster 7-5 this year, including 5-4 in the B1G.
After a home date with Iowa on October 11th, the Badgers will host Ohio State and visit Oregon- two teams that qualified for the CFP this year. The Ducks also played in the Big Ten title game.
A road game at Indiana is also on the schedule for November 15th. The Hoosiers were surprise CFP contenders this year and also featured in the mix for a Big Ten title up until the final weeks of the regular season.
The battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe against Minnesota remains on rivalry weekend, November 29th, in Minneapolis.
The season begins August 30th against Miami University of Ohio. Middle Tennesee State’s Blue Raiders will visit on September 6th, before the big non-conference clash with the Crimson Tide.
The Alabama game was scheduled as part of a home-and-home agreement made four years ago. Alabama won the Madison leg of the series 42-10 on September 14th. Alabama plays Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa on New Year’s Eve.
Some dates are still subject to change based on TV selections. Such as a game being moved to Friday from Saturday. Kickoff times for the season’s first three weeks will be announced this Spring. The remaining games will be subject to a six or 12-day selection window, also based on TV schedules.
All games will be heard on WSAU.
