Kurtis Holman
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Marshfield man will serve prison time for two counts related to the repeated sexual assault of a young girl.
Kurtis Holman was sentenced to 10 years in prison for first-degree child sexual assault and seven and a half years for causing a child to listen to a sex act, both involving a girl who was younger than 13. Charges stem from a 2024 complaint accusing the 37-year-old of repeated sexual assault of the same child. Investigators say the assaults began in 2018 and continued for years.
The sentences will run concurrently, meaning they will run alongside each other and the longer sentence will determine his prison stay. His sentence includes ten years of extended supervision and a lifetime on the state’s sex offender registry. Terms also include a no-contact order with the victim and no unsupervised contact with minors.
Holman pleaded no contest to the charges in late August, canceling a scheduled jury trial. Two additional felony counts were dismissed but read into the record.
