MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Badger football season will come to an end on Saturday, November 29th, with the Axe Game against Minnesota.
The Big Ten Conference announced the final kickoff times and TV assignments of the 2025 regular season on Sunday and Monday. Wisconsin will play Illinois this Saturday at Camp Randall. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM, with TV coverage on the Big Ten Network.
Pregame coverage on WSAU will begin at 4:30 PM.
The league and its TV partners utilized a six-day hold for games on November 22nd, announcing those kickoff times on Sunday. Rivalry weekend games were announced earlier today, with the battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe kicking off at 2:30 PM in Minneapolis. TV coverage has been assigned to FS1. Pregame coverage on WSAU will begin at 12:30 PM.
Wisconsin sits at 3-7 on the season and will likely miss out on a Bowl Game for a second year in a row. The only path to Bowl eligibility for a five-win team is through the NCAA’s Academic Progress Rankings, which only come into play if there aren’t enough six-win teams to fill all of the Bowl bids.
